Keeley Sneek is a senior at Ohio University pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Social Work and Psychology with a minor in Sociology. She is currently preparing applications for Master of Social Work (MSW) programs, with a commitment to expanding her knowledge and skills to better serve children, families, and communities.
With more than four years of experience supporting children, families, and individuals with diverse needs, Keeley is passionate about helping people navigate challenges, access resources, and build stronger foundations for success. Her experience spans child welfare, disability services, early intervention, community outreach, and family support.
Through her social work field placement with Hopewell Health Services, Keeley has gained exposure to early childhood development, early intervention services, case management, mental health support, and services for women during the peripartum and postpartum periods. She has also completed a social service internship with Geauga County Job and Family Services, where she gained firsthand experience observing child and adult protective services, family investigations, court proceedings, case management, and supervised visitation.
In addition to her direct service experience, Keeley serves as a Billing Assistant with Passcode to Parenting, where she supports agency operations while gaining insight into trauma-informed coaching, parenting coordination, mediation, and family support services. She is also actively involved in programs serving children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities through Catholic Charities Disability Services and Ministry.
A member of Phi Alpha Social Work Honor Society and the College of Health Sciences and Professions Dean’s Student Advisory Council, Keeley has earned numerous academic honors and scholarships while maintaining an exceptional GPA. She is dedicated to lifelong learning, compassionate service, and empowering individuals and families to thrive.
