"The parent-child connection is the most powerful mental health intervention known to mankind."
Bessel Van der Kolk
Connection and relationship is the key to repair work in ruptured family systems and it starts with our own relationships with our clients.
At Passcode to Parenting, we promote growth and educate about child development, positive behavior management, communication skill-building, self-awareness, self-care, and go above and beyond to connect with our clients. Our services can be customized to fit your needs because support for every family looks a little different, and our team takes a trauma-informed approach to care to fully understand you and your situation.
Parent Coaching and Co-Parent Coaching promote growth and educate parents about child development, positive behavior management, communication skill-building, self-awareness, and self-care. Co-Parent Coaching is for divorced, divorcing, or separated parents struggling to find a way to co-parent collaboratively, as well as those finding it hard to connect in parenting.
Parent Coordination is a court-ordered process that aims to help divorced parents who are experiencing high levels of conflict. As the coordinator, we help parents work out their issues and come up with solutions that are in the best interest of the children to reduce the level of conflict and improve communication.
Reunification Intervention is a specialized form of family therapy that focuses on repairing and rebuilding the relationship between a child and a parent/parents after a break. When this occurs, it is vital to find therapeutic ways to re-establish trust and feelings of safety.
Behavior Consultation covers assessing the child's behavior and developing a support plan to address identified target behaviors and increase pro-social skills. This includes frequent progress monitoring to ensure success and modify as needed.

Peta is a gem. She makes being a mom a bit easier and is my go-to-lady as things come up. Peta can recognize strengths in both the parent (caretaker) and child and build on those. She offers practical suggestions/solutions... I'm lucky to have her in our life and am forever grateful.
From surviving to thriving. Thank you, Peta!
