Amanda Pritchett, M.Ed., BCBA, COBA, is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and Certified Ohio Behavior Analyst with more than 14 years of experience partnering with children, families, and multidisciplinary care teams across Ohio, North Carolina, and Indiana. She supports children ages 2–16 with developmental and behavioral needs, with a primary focus on Autism Spectrum Disorder.
Amanda earned her Master of Education in Foundations of Applied Behavior Analysis, with honors, from the University of Cincinnati. Her work is grounded in the belief that meaningful, measurable, and sustainable outcomes are achieved when children, families, and providers work together.
Amanda is a member of Parenting With ABA and a prospective Parent Coordinator, and Parent/Co-Parent Coach. Her specialties include family collaboration, consultation and coaching; creating parent-coaching goals grounded in foundational ABA strategies and supports; early intervention; functional behavior assessment; individualized ABA treatment planning and skill acquisition; telehealth consultation, observation, and training; interdisciplinary care coordination; and mentorship and supervision of Registered Behavior Technicians, BCBA interns, and BCaBA/BCBA supervisees.
Amanda is passionate about providing individualized, compassionate, and practical ABA services that promote meaningful progress in communication, social interaction, emotional regulation, adaptive living, learning readiness, and independence. Through caregiver guidance, consultation, coaching, and collaboration, she helps families strengthen routines, build confidence, and support the use of new skills across home, school, clinic, and community settings.
Amanda has experience administering and interpreting common skill assessments, including, but not limited to the VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R, AFLS, PEAK, EFL, IISCA, and Vineland.
She collaborates with educators, physicians, occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, and other stakeholders to develop clear, coordinated, and responsive support plans.
Throughout her career, Amanda has led and supported high-impact clinical and program development initiatives. As the Lead BCBA Clinical Supervisor within the Medina area, during the launch of a new ABA clinic, she helped establish clinical services, developed individualized intervention plans, and trained and supervised many Registered Behavior Technicians and a BCBA supervisee participating in an internship program. She also partnered closely with clinical leadership to support quality service delivery and assist satellite clinics during staffing shortages.
Amanda has successfully managed large pediatric caseloads while remaining responsive to each family’s needs. She has supervised teams of 6–8 behavior therapists and supported the implementation and maintenance of individualized treatment programs.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, Amanda stepped into a team-leadership role, supervising eight employees while maintaining her clinical caseload through telehealth and completing department-level projects. She helped her team successfully transition to a telehealth service model, minimizing interruptions in care and ensuring children and families continued to receive high-quality ABA services when appropriate. She was also selected as one of four team members to spearhead regional behavioral-department accreditation through the Behavioral Health Center of Excellence.
Her additional contributions include supporting staff onboarding and training, consulting with program coordinators on departmental initiatives, preparing progress reports and extremely detailed Functional Behavior Assessments for students in special education programs, providing guidance to local schools and educators, and coordinating care with medical providers and community outreach teams.
Committed to developing the next generation of behavior-analytic professionals, Amanda has supervised, trained, and mentored Registered Behavior Technicians, BCBA interns, and BCaBA/BCBA supervisees completing fieldwork toward certification. Her mentorship emphasizes ethical, compassionate, data-informed practice; sound clinical judgment; and collaborative care, all with unparalleled attention to detail.
Amanda is passionate about applying ABA to help children and families achieve their individual goals through meaningful, child- and parent-led engagement. She is committed to cultivating enduring connections, enhancing children’s quality of life, and developing a collaborative network of professionals who equip parents with ABA-informed strategies that promote attachment and skill development. Her insight and experience speak for themselves, and her dedication to supporting strong family systems has brought her to Passcode to Parenting.
Outside of work, Amanda treasures time with her husband, daughter, and family dog. She enjoys outdoor adventures such as hiking, kayaking, and backpacking, as well as board and card games with her family. Exercise, interior decorating, and quiet time to relax also help her recharge and maintain the healthy work-life balance that is important to her.
